The Gamewell MS-7LOB is a double-action manual pull station listed for outdoor applications. It ships with the SB-I/O indoor/outdoor backbox, which is required for the UL outdoor listing. First, the user lifts the lid. Then the user pulls the handle down. As a result, the dual-action sequence prevents accidental alarms while still allowing quick activation in a real emergency.
Where It Belongs
The MS-7LOB is designed for conventional fire alarm control panels. Therefore, do not specify this part for addressable systems — for those, choose the MS-7AF (addressable double-action) or MS-7ASF (addressable single-action). Furthermore, the MS-7LOB is intended for exterior walls, loading docks, parking structures, transportation infrastructure, and any interior location where moisture, dust, or temperature extremes would compromise a standard indoor station.
